IWM LONDON
Inspiring ideas happen in inspiring places. We promise our conference venue will certainly make you think.
Founded in 1917, the Imperial War Museum made a commitment to record and tell the stories of people’s experiences of conflict and to educate more people around the world about the impact of war on people’s lives.
During the breaks you will have the opportunity to walk the halls of this great museum, exploring the exhibitions and learn about some of the most significant historical events of the 20th Century.
And yes, there will be planes. This is an airline event after all!
Look out for the iconic British Supermarine Spitfire Mark IA; the first operational fixed wing aircraft to be capable of VTOL (Vertical Take Off and Landing) – the Harrier Jet and the wreck of a Japanese Zero fighter – Mitsubishi A6M fighter discovered on a Pacific island 50 years after the Second World War.
